Global launch of plastic recycling machine to produce bio-plastic boom

China's Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Blonde Technology signed a three-year agreement to promote fully biodegradable plastic mulch. In 2014, 140,000 mu of farmland of 14 divisions of the Corps used fully biodegradable plastic mulch. In 2016, fully biodegradable plastic mulch will be used in 6 million mu of farmland.

    In 2015, the French Parliament passed a law on energy transition and green growth. In addition to reducing the proportion of nuclear energy in the French energy mix, the new law also includes legislative advice related to renewable energy and plastic packaging.

    The US Department of Agriculture encourages the production of bioplastics to implement a priority procurement plan for biological products since 2004. It is planned to implement a bio-based priority labeling program in 2010 to encourage consumers to actively consume bio-products with high biomass content.
