Waste plastic machinery and manual cleaning methods

There are two methods for cleaning and drying waste plastics: mechanical cleaning and manual cleaning. Some plastic products can only be cleaned manually after recycling, and some plastic products can be mechanically cleaned and dried.

The following are the specific operations of mechanical cleaning and drying. Toyota Machinery reminds you that mechanical cleaning and drying are divided into intermittent and continuous.

Intermittent cleaning

First, wash waste plastic into a water tank, and use a plastic mixing machine to remove loose dirt, such as sand and dirt, adhering to the surface of the plastic, and sink it to the bottom of the tank. A special pump is used to further purify the sedimentation tank; for dirt that is firmly attached, such as printing inks and adhesive-coated paper labels, you can manually pick out the larger piece and put it in hot alkali after crushing by a plastic pulverizer Soak in the aqueous solution tank for a period of time, and then rub and rub each other with mechanical stirring to remove dirt. Finally, the washed and crushed waste plastic is sent to a centrifuge to be dried, and dried in two steps of hot air to a residual moisture of ≤0.5%.

2. Continuous cleaning

The waste plastic is sent to a plastic crusher by a conveyor belt for coarse crushing, and then sent to a large separation section, where sand and gravel are sunk into the water bottom and sent away regularly. The floating material enters the wet mill through the conveying roller, and then enters the sedimentation tank. Everything heavier than water is separated, even the smallest particles are no exception, achieving the best cleaning effect.
